Team called by NWAS to assist with an elderly person who had fallen on a remote path and sustained a knee injury. Seeing that the location – Cartmel – was bordering the area of Duddon and Furness MRT, both teams deployed enough personnel to ensure a safe stretcher carry to the awaiting land ambulance.
