In November we headed off to Ghyll Head and around the Birkett House Allotment area. The team training involved splitting into three groups and learning how to use the new titanium stretcher, the initial stages of searching and what extra personal kit you may need to prepare before heading to base and primary survey for casualty care. Once the workshops were completed the groups then faced three different scenarios in which they had the opportunity to practise what they talked about in the workshops.We also enjoyed a lovely cake which was baked for a team members birthday.
