February’s training involved both ourselves and Kirkby Stephen MRT. The morning started with helicopter training which enabled ourselves and KSMRT to get team members re-qualified and new members qualified in winching drills.
We then conducted some round robin medical training (with special thanks to casualty union providing some realistic scenarios) alongside steep ground scenarios.
We then had an introduction to drone use which was then used to find 2 exercise casualties which allowed the teams to put into practise what we had just covered.
