In May, Settle College conducted their “Community Project” as part of the AQA unlocking potential programme. It included the planning, delivery and participation in a community project that would make a positive contribution.
The plan was to hold a cake baking competition and then sell the cakes with proceeds going to a local charity. We were pleased to learn that we were the chosen charity, as recognition for the part we played in the December floods.
We welcomed Laura and Rebecca to our base for a tour and they handed over a cheque to the team for £125. Thank You
