Team members Tony and Kath visited Grayrigg primary school to talk to the Oaks classes (years 3-6) about the Grayrigg Train Crash.
Tony (who was yet to join the team, but lives in the village) spoke about how the incident effected Grayrigg whilst Kath spoke about her involvement on the night as part of Kendal Mountain Rescue Team. They then had a picture taken with some of the children yet to be born.
The school and village hall became a central point for those passengers able to walk away from the crash site.
